Although not scheduled to hit local theaters until December 2009, Disney today released its first trailer of the much anticipated 2-D animated film, The Princess and the Frog. Written and directed by the same folks responsible for the Little Mermaid and Aladdin, Ron Clements and John Musker, the animated musical is set in the Jazz Age of New Orleans, sometime in the 1920's. The film features Disney's first African American princess, as well as a cast of characters, both human and not, two of which debut in the trailer. More on this trailer in upcoming posts. For now, just sit back and enjoy the tease!
